Which plants benefit most from the Mossify Mistr™?

Tropical houseplants evolved in high-humidity rainforest environments, most home interiors sit well below the 60–80% humidity these plants prefer. Regular misting with the Mistr™ raises localized humidity around the leaf canopy, supports healthy stomata function, and encourages aerial root activity on climbing aroids.

Best results with:

Aroids: Monstera deliciosa, Monstera adansonii, Philodendron, Pothos, Epipremnum, Scindapsus, Syngonium, Hoya

Ferns & Humidity Lovers: Boston Fern, Maidenhair Fern, Calathea, Maranta, Stromanthe

Orchids: Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium — mist aerial roots, not the crown

Pro tip: Mist in the morning so foliage dries before nightfall, this reduces the risk of fungal issues. For plants on a Mossify Bendable Moss Pole™, mist the moss layer directly every 1–2 weeks to keep aerial roots actively attaching.

Setting Up Your Mistr™

  1. Charge fully before first use (2–3 hours via Micro USB)
  2. Fill the reservoir with distilled water — do not overfill
  3. Replace the top securely before use

Using Your Mistr™

  • Turn ON: Hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds
  • Pause: Press the ON/OFF button once
  • Turn OFF: Hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds — the Mistr™ will also shut off automatically if set down
  • Always point the nozzle away from yourself before activating
  • The LED indicator on top shows remaining battery level

Maintenance

  • Wash the reservoir at least once per week
  • Only pour water into the container — never submerge the electronics
  • If using any additives (e.g. CalMag, foliar spray), rinse thoroughly with clean water after each use
  • Charge the battery before it fully depletes to extend battery life
